What Does APN Outdoor Do?

APN Outdoor Group [ASX: APO] is an advertising company that has a portfolio of premium sites in metro billboards, transit networks and airports across Australia and New Zealand. The company only listed on the stock exchange last year.
What is Happening to APN Outdoor’s Share Price?
The company listed in November of last year. It hit a low of $2.42 in December, but has now run up to hit over $3.
On March 6, the S&P Dow Jones Indices announced its Quarterly Rebalance of the S&P/ASX Indices. APN Outdoor is now included in the S&P/ASX 300 Index. Fund managers that have a mandate to only invest within the top 300 shares may now consider APN Outdoor.

What Now for APN Outdoor Shares?

The company, according to its half year report released in February, is on track to meet its projected results as forecast in its prospectus. The results the company reports also seems to indicate a reasonable business environment in Australia.
That’s because companies looking to reduce costs advertising is often cut when companies are looking to cut costsadvertising. If companies are spending money, it shows they’re confident in the health of the economy and that Australia and New Zealand consumers will spend.
